What's Nearby?

Student life in Coventry is closely connected to the city centre. Unlike more spread-out university cities, many students studying at Coventry University live, study and socialise within the same central areas, making day-to-day life relatively easy to navigate.

The areas around Far Gosford Street and Broadgate are popular with students, offering cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and nightlife within walking distance of university buildings and accommodation. Students also spend time around Broadgate and Cathedral Lanes, which act as key social and shopping areas in the city.

Coventry’s location also makes it well connected to nearby student hubs. Many students regularly travel between Coventry, Warwick and Leamington Spa, particularly those connected to the University of Warwick.

Students also benefit from green spaces such as War Memorial Park, which is popular for relaxing, exercising and socialising outside of lectures.
