Living at City Heights

The heating and lighting in your accommodation are included in your rent, however we would ask you to be as energy efficient as possible

Hot water controls

  • Each studio has their own hot water boiler. The power control for this is a switch located near the tall white panel next to the bed. It looks like a light switch. This must be kept on at all times.

  • If this is switched off then there will be no hot water supply to your room. In the event of any concerns please log an issue on the Mansion Student App.

  • Each bedroom has its own individually controlled electric wall heater. The heater can be set to the required temperature using the thermostat.

  • To report a fault in your flat, log in to the Mansion Student App, click My Support, New Ticket and provide the details of your maintenance issue. All requests will be dealt with in order of priority.

  • We use key fobs throughout the building. One fob will be issued upon check-in along with a small box key.

  • If you lock yourself out during office hours, the Hospitality Team will open your flat/room for you. If you lock yourself out of your flat/room outside office hours, you will need to call 0113 390 7870 to be let back in by out of hours security - there is a £60.00 charge if  you require this service.  If you lose your key or fob there will be a charge for replacement. You must inform your Hospitality Team as soon as possible.
