Student Wins “RENT FREE” with Mansion.

Mansion Student recently ran a competition for one lucky customer to win a potentially life changing prize - the chance to live rent free for the whole academic year.

All customers who had signed a tenancy for any Mansion property Nationwide, before 30th April 2009 were automatically entered into a draw to win this fantastic prize that further reflects Mansion Student’s commitment to re-defining the whole of the private student accommodation sector. Mansion Student, experts in providing affordable, high quality accommodation to students across the country recently drew the winner of the competition for one customer to

“Live Rent Free For A Year” – a prize that could be worth anything up to £5,000.

Hannah Ryder, a Second Year Psychology student at Manchester University was the name drawn from the hat and she will now move into her new accommodation, knowing it won’t cost her a penny.

“I was completely shocked when I heard,” smiles Hannah, “I was so happy and grateful.”

Hannah chose to live with Mansion Student at the newly refurbished Weston Court because of its great location and high specification facilities – “It looks modern, clean and it’s right where all the students are – I preferred it to the other places available as it feels more ‘grown-up’ than some traditional student halls”.

And of course, the offer to Live Rent Free was too good to refuse; “Offers like this can make a huge difference so when we saw the advertisements it does get you excited – although I never win anything so I didn’t think it would be me!”
Perhaps best of all for the staff and stakeholders at Mansion Student, Hannah plans to use this opportunity to truly make a difference to her life that she otherwise may not have had chance to;

“The equivalent money is going in the bank and it will stay there until I finish this course because my ambition is to do a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and, without this, I doubt I could have afforded it.”
